Im going to buy a cam, front and rear

Completely smashed my hand up playing field hockey. The next day I went out and bought protective gloves :)

My story of lying to get off without a speeding ticket. This was in my student days...

Doing 45mph in a 30 zone. Pulled over by the police. Swore blind I wasn't exceeding the limit (this was in the days before radar guns etc).
Went home, got my camera, photographed the 30mph road sign which was partially obscured by leaves, went to the police station, swore blind that my car was only running on 3 cylinders and it couldn't reach 50 (not entirely true), got really annoyed (!), showed him my photos and they tore up the ticket lol.

I'm not proud of this, but I'm amazed it worked.

I've had a motorcycle cop a few cars behind me at a stop light pull me over when I sped off the line quickly with a little butt wiggle. But he lit up his lights almost immediately, and I wasn't even up to the speed limit (60 mph). I had 2nd gear pretty much redlined, so I just shifted into 6th and stopped accelerating. He said he paced me at 78 mph :rolleyes:

I asked him politely to check his video and explained my side of the story - I know the light timing and was just trying to make the next light green by getting up to speed quickly. He came back a bit irritated and just gave me a warning. I almost refused to sign (cause it said 78 in a 60), but I quickly realized it wasn't worth it. He also said he would have ticketed me for the launch if I hadn't kept my tires in my lane. He did comment that he was at least glad that for once he wasn't pulling someone over for being on their cell phone; I thanked him for actually enforcing that law.

weather sucks here... still need to take off my tint and now im scared of driving my car fgs.. dammit this sucks. shouldnt i be allowed to drive as is UNTIL the court date? or would they arrest me or something... my uncles out of town lol, i need to get a hold of him, hes a lawyer

So what was the final outcome of this episode OP?

just had court, got charged $240 for the no front plate, tints n plate rear cover were dropped before i could even say anything to the prosecutor.
but now i ran into a bigger issue. to be continued in the next thread
