im looking to buy an exhaust, need some info from gta peepz
 

ive been wanting an exhaust for a long time now, and i know some of the members here in toronto and the gta have some, my question is did you guys purchase the it from the states or a canadian site or store? and whered you guys go for install. I just want a new look and sound, been stock way too long, any advice would greatly be appreciated, thanks !

I just bought an ERZ CNT Racing exhaust off eBay... its an HKS style system, welding quality is what you would expect for $500USD but it's stainless, sounds really decent (deep, no rasp and just a little drone at low rpm part throttle) and fit was perfect. And after shipping importing and tax it made more sense to my wallet than other options. Otherwise I found tdot performance, whitehead performance and lowriders.ca carried a few of the common cat backs I've seen or heard about through searching the forum.

I'm in Victoria on the west coast so YMMV.

Bought FI and had the dealer install it.

Got my invidia via jrp if you are in the gta. If not in stock usually around a week waiting time. They can pretty much get anything.

I purchased the FI cbe directly through FI. Plans are to have Whitehead do the instal once the cbe arrives, hopefully this week or next.

Cool thanks guys. I wonder if anyone every does meet ups, there just so many different exhausts and would love to hear how it sounds it person, I hate drone. I love the akrapovich exhaust but it cost too much and others who have it say it's only slightly louder than stock exhaust and you almost can't even tell thr difference

I wonder how many types of front lips there are for the base as well ? I might do a 2015 or 16 the new nismo bumper conversion as well bc i hear it's not as expensive as the old one and a direct fitment like the base. So I might hold back on the lip n diffuser, not sure which route to take, credit cards almost maxed lol

And any recommendations on where to go to get the interior of my 2nd car cleaned ? Particularly the leather seats I'd like shampooed and of course everything on the inside scrubbed and wiped clean

I decided to take the chance and go custom. cost me $800 imo sounds much better then any pre made exhausts

I got the top speed axel back resonated and sounds great.. paid 450 picked it up in Hamilton... if you want I can give you the number of the guy who sells them, great build quality

Congrats on taking that custom exhaust route. Someone has to support the local 'ma and pa' fabricators and shops. :tiphat: I don't believe that almost 1,500 Z owners with custom made FI CBE's are tone deaf.
