Dear toronto z fam

Please stop getting into at fault accidents or getting speeding tickets by driving like douche bags.

My insurance premium would greatly appreciate it. More specifically my liability.

Thanks

Did your premium increase?

Yep. Called and apparently liability went up. A lot. Shopped around and it was across the board.

I was expecting a slight drop due to some monthly interest charge changes.

:( between age group and car group. Nvm I should go ream the mustangs

I was shocked when I got my premium, I pay 163/month living in the GTA.

mishuko 06-08-2016 09:58 AM

I'm at 230.... fml!!!!

Lol I did have 1 minor before I got my z. Will drop off next year and I should get a better rate. Unless they somehow find a way to stick me :(

Solidandre 06-08-2016 10:24 AM

Should call my place I'm insured with. Everyone else I called back in march was 195+ or so

Nixin 06-08-2016 01:19 PM

I have said it before and I will say it again; insurance is a racket or better yet organized crime! Canadians are too passive! We need to stand up to these thugs.

What's your company?

I have a broker and this was the lowest rate I could get.

night blade 06-08-2016 03:45 PM

I pay $182 per month and it's going down on my renewal in July, go figure?

No accidents or speeding tickets, been lucky ;). And before someone asks Belair Direct, 2 cars on the policy so that might bring it down a bit but still, anyone else cheaper?

Solidandre 06-08-2016 04:29 PM

It might end up going up. Never know with insurance companies now a days. And I'm with Johnson and Johnson insurance there also a broker that got me with unifund

LMBmikeZ 06-08-2016 05:23 PM

Damn I am glad I am in a different area of Ontario, I pay much less ............

Solidandre 06-08-2016 07:02 PM

Area I believe accounts for 40% of your policy premium from what I was told. Toronto is a pretty populated area. But I'd much rather live near a big city then on the outskirts of town

:icon17: It's not like I am living out in the sticks.....

I'll take my area (KW-London way) over GTA any day out here the highway actually moves even during rush hour. That and our stupid people are not as prevalent as they are in the GTA seems like with the larger population your stupid:normal ratio is increased.

Solidandre 06-09-2016 06:38 AM

Well it's only common sense that the highier the population the more of your vehicle is on the road and clearly when there's more of something there's also more accidents. Especially when your comparing roughly 400k ppl to 2.6 million. Huge difference lol
