How is the ride? Thinking about ordering them this week.

SuperZeto 02-11-2015 12:55 PM

Any more pictures? Seems I've only seen a handful on here. I'll be posting mine... Whenever they ship that is..

They're great so far! pretty low, I don't think I want to go any lower since the streets of Sacramento are kinda crappy. Ride is fairly smooth but you can feel how bad the roads are. I went on a mountain run a couple weeks ago and these are awesome in tight corners.

Looks great!

In for more pics

Is the supporting mods the same as any other spring set up?

CM370z 01-09-2016 04:02 PM

Here's my car on ARK GT-S springs. I love the ride quality but be careful of dips and speed bumps. I bottom out on some of the larger speed bumps. The drop looks amazing though.

RBfastback 01-18-2016 05:39 PM

Thanks for your response. I would like to get my car as close to spec as I can and save my tires the best way I can.

no problem, and yes then I would get them. I pretty much only DD my car so I set my camber very low. to get maximum rubber contact and life, I've got 30k+ miles on my non- rotated PSS ties and still going.

also My current springs are swift

Did you get both front and rear? I've read on the forums that some people say you only need it for the rear on the swifts.

Thanks again

RBfastback 01-18-2016 11:29 PM

yes front and rear, only thing I didn't buy from spl is the toe rod since I still have the oem spring bucket.
I wanted to have a lot of adjustability. the spl fronts are beautiful and were needed to get the alignment where I wanted it

just for fun:http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01...462a6e2a3f.jpg

Is it possible to get these ark springs on alone without doing anything else to the car? I like the look of these springs from those pics. Also are there any pictures with the stock 18 inch wheels? I'm new to suspension mods.

hey so did you get the camber arms for both front and rear? did you need anything else for the alignment like the toe rods? i want my alignment perfect also.

on a side note i love the look of the gts ark springs. great cheaper way to go low. which im doing

JD370Z13 01-22-2016 07:21 PM

i just purchased the SPL Rear Camber arms, SPC Toe bolts, and Z1 upper control arms. I Will have everything installed in 2 weeks. I decided I might as well get a performance alignment as well and save the tires as much as I can because I DD. I posted some questions about needing lower control arms and some people say they just need an alignment to get them into spec. I figure I want the best for my car so I got what I felt was needed. Some people also just recommended the rear camber arms.

I the SPL Upper Arms were not in my budget. Im getting everything put together and tuned by West End Alignment in Torrance CA. I cant wait.

yeah an not to have the bounciness of coilovers.

so this is exactly what I have and needed.
suspension:

-SPL front upper control arms
-SPL rear camber arms
-SPL eccentric lockout kit
-SPL toe bolts
-h&r 15mm spacers
- currently have swift springs but I'm switching to the ARK GT-S Springs for a better look.

haven't got tie rids yet

side note I'm selling swift springs

this i saw from a post on another thread, they received this info from Z1

"Regarding removal single Camber on the street arms can be adjusted without removing the whole arm, similar to a Kinetix design the outer joint only has to be un bolted from the knuckle and spun to make the adjustment. This is the most common adjustment on street arms."

no problem man, I like answering stuff I know lol

Nismo Rays
-front wheels 19x9.5 +40(tires are pss 245-40-19 tires)
20lbs rim

-rear wheels 19x10.5 +23(tires are 285-35-19 tires)
23lbs rim

but I just got some 295/35/19 PSS tires for the rear.

in the future I'm gonna do some wider front tires tho ( but I'm not gonna go with a smaller sidewall, I like the 35 rear an 40 front
