Bad rear camber arm bushing

A couple of days ago I notice that when I hit small bumps in the road or road pattern changes do to construction the back end of my Z would sway and shake side to side violently. So I went home put the rear on jack stands and noticed that on both adjustable camber arms that the end that connects to the frame of the car the bushings are torn and worn out bad would this be the cause of this shaking. I also checked all other bushings and they look fine and this all started to happen as soon after Firestone Aligned my car I have taken it back twice.

They're shot! :icon14:

+2, there shot, definitely unsafe to be driving on. These should be changed out immediately. Get some SPL ones and call it a day.

Order some SPL arms and call it a day. Safety > cheap parts.

Yes Stillen's camber arm has a heim joint so its perfectly fine. No issues there, I've been using there rear camber arms for almost 6 yrs now.

Dang, I have been having these same issues. I want to go outside and check mine out right now.

This set up was on the car when i bought it. I was already a little sceptical about it since its from ebay but wow this is just unacceptable.

olddudesrule 09-05-2014 10:26 AM

Damn, something else for me to check. I've only got a thousand miles on mine!

nismolucino 09-05-2014 10:55 AM

And this is why I went with the spl arms, the quality is second to none. I would change those out asap.
