kenchan 08-25-2010 03:19 PM

No price yet, but I think it's a .6" drop.

tbonesteak 08-25-2010 06:17 PM

damn....end of the yr!? i guess i have to wait longer....i was really anticipating the swift springs but they seem to be a more aggressive of a drop than we had originally anticipated. I want <1" all around....

tjlazer 08-25-2010 06:25 PM

Yeah I am getting frustrated and about to just order TEIN springs.

tbonesteak 08-25-2010 06:30 PM

hahaha noooo u will end up selling the Teins. I've had some in the past. Never again.

tjlazer 08-25-2010 06:31 PM

well I'm kinda pissed as I just installed my S-Tune kit and it's sitting .5" higher in the front. Was gonna put RS*R on them but I am getting impatient, especially now!

tjlazer 08-25-2010 11:44 PM

OK Japan Parts responded. $391 for the TI 2000 Down Springs and $140 or shipping. (It's like $60 cheaper for the normal ones) I'm gonna do it!

where as eibach has been chip free for about 5yrs now.
tein's are okay too but check their spring rates. it seems like their engineers just
puts together some assortment of springs as a kit and sells it for a car.

not sure if i got a bad batch but tanabe does not qualify in my
future to-buy department.

wow... i wanted to get the tanabe gf210 springs... this makes me rethink some things..

tbonesteak 08-26-2010 11:22 PM

tein sux too. swift, neuspeed, h&r are some of the highest quality springs. Eibach has good quality but they suck as a spring.

tjlazer 08-27-2010 07:59 PM

Here is a peak on how they look!

Da.Menace 08-27-2010 09:04 PM

pretty hard to see it with a black car :(

From a lowering perspective...that looks almost exactly like stock..lol. If you are just looking for a high quality linear spring....than you can't go wrong. I wish the front end was a tad lower though...looks high to me with respect to the rear.

This is most likely what I would get though just based on the fact that it is a linear spring.

Does anyone know if the H&R's are progressive or linear?

504 370z 09-02-2010 02:30 PM

Post pics when installed. I'd like to get these but i'll wait till they get here

tbonesteak 09-03-2010 10:27 PM

i don't think that looks stock at all. It def looks lowered. I'm loving this setup so far.

pty370z 09-10-2010 05:17 PM

You can order them through RHD Japan as well.. They have the Ti2000 listed on their website...

Price is $428.15 + $124.88 S/H

RS-R Ti2000 Suspension Set - Down Type Nissan Fairlady Z Z34

We could get them cheaper per set if we buy them as a group and order a bunch and then 1 person places the order and forwards the shipment to the different destinations... Just a thought..

tbonesteak 09-12-2010 02:36 AM

so what's the official drop height?

Mild drop is what I'm all about......saving tires, etc. RS-R looks like a winner. I almost got these for my 350Z.

Question on Nismo S-tune, where is there a place that sells the S-tune kit for only $800?????? That's an insane deal.

Volcom370Z 05-19-2011 01:01 AM

Why did this thread die? has ANYONE gotten these springs?

tjlazer 05-19-2011 01:06 AM

Nobody wanted to import them and pay almost $600. I just got Swift springs...

Volcom370Z 05-19-2011 01:11 AM

I'm really debating... i might find a shop that can import them wholesale... RSR USA is right here in SoCal... might see if they can get a set over here for a little cheaper than that.

tsolin01 05-19-2011 01:25 AM

I don't get it, why would anyone pay that much for these? people were already complaining about the swifts being expensive...

tsolin01 05-19-2011 09:43 AM

I guess for exclusivity lol but hey it's your cash, you can spend it any way you want. I was just curious

Volcom370Z 05-19-2011 05:29 PM

fyi... RSR said these should be in stock in a month... we'll see if it happens. Should save on the $124 shipping cost
