Brakes squeaking?

Hi Im new to this forum and had a question. My brakes squeak when I reverse sometimes. They tend to squeak more when they are cold. Why does this happen? How can I stop them from squeaking.

I have the Akebono's BTW

Totally normal. As to exactly why, I cant answer that but it is common with sport oriented brakes.

Try a few panic stops to burn off any deposits on the rotors.

Try rotating the rotors.

I run Hawk HPS pads (I replaced the stock pads immediately. They are very low dust and very quiet.

I'll look into those once the time comes to swap. Should be soon.

If I hear squeaking I give the brakes a forceful stop and the squeaking is gone

My driver side rear started about a month ago. Took it to dealer twice - they said "normal". BS. It's typical of both Infiniti and 370 sports brakes.

I'll be taking it back with a bottle of "brake quiet" until they get it to stop.

Probably worse as I have a roadster and with the top down i hear it more.
