Fortune Auto Coilovers - Group Buy?

I've been working with Marti at Rev-Works on a solution for my '13 vert and if there's enough interest, he'll give us special pricing for a group buy.

Please note that these are all made to order and you can spec your spring rate and valving. They also offer an upgrade to Swift Springs.

If I get enough interest, I'll suggest that they offer "kit" pricing as most of us purchase camber kits, toe bolts, etc at the same time.. maybe I could make up some specific kits.

You best deal for a totally Bespoke suspension solution :ughdance:

PM me if interested.

CarbonFZ 11-22-2013 01:21 PM

i might be interested in just the coilovers depending on price

Zbrah 11-22-2013 02:34 PM

KraTToR 11-22-2013 04:11 PM

speedfreek 11-22-2013 04:14 PM

I ran some of thier suspension pieces on my 240. Awesome products, love their colors especially when you can see them through your wheels.

ka24king 11-22-2013 10:27 PM

wanna see the prices with swift springs might try and sell my stance coilovers and get these

KraTToR 11-25-2013 10:38 AM

Everyone who showed interest should be getting a PM with the deets from Marti.

KraTToR 11-25-2013 10:43 AM

Update:
The more Marti can sell, the better pricing we get so if you can help out, please do!

Everyone who's shown interest will be getting a PM from Marti ASAP and I'll continue to add names as others show interest.

speedfreek and MarlinZ, what config did you end up going with?

speedfreek 11-28-2013 07:30 PM

Fortune Auto 500 with Swift spring upgrade

Customized spring rate for my setup: 12k front 10k rear.

synolimit 11-29-2013 04:13 AM

I did the questionnaire to see what they suggest for my setup. I'd be interested after I get a response from them.

Hotrodz 11-29-2013 09:33 AM

I sent my payment too!

MarlinZ 11-29-2013 02:19 PM

I went with the fully loaded 500 option 11k/8k for dd along with the rear adjustment extenders and the radial bearing mounts.

Are the bearings what the rear lower bolt slides through? Normally are they just hard rubber?

They actually go up front. They help to reduce any unwanted noise from the top hat.

I'm not sure exactly where they go I haven't seen a set with them on yet. Maybe somebody else knows more?

synolimit 11-30-2013 12:50 AM

It's the whole upper thing under the cam plate. They have a video of the install on their site. The spring sits under it.

cossie1600 11-30-2013 02:38 AM

Now that I think about it, I remember Chris at Fortune Auto said the bearing is not necessary for our application. I don't have the email anymore as to why, but I had asked him that. Also this is what he said about the Swift spring upgrade

You can safely go +/- 3k before needing to revalve the shocks. I cannot give you a difference in track times between the 500 and 510 series coilovers. There are too many things to factor in. Swift springs have a few advantages over our standard Fortune Auto springs. They are lighter in weight, they are made of Swift's own silicone chrome material which is corrosion resistant, they are faster reacting, they offer a much smoother ride without sacrificing performance, lastly they don't sag over time. I strongly recommend these based on ride quality alone.

cossie1600 12-01-2013 04:21 AM

Well guys be careful, one of the adjuster on my rear shock was completely frozen when I put it on my hand for the pre install check. I finally got it to unfreeze by using the extended adjuster, except now the knob just spins with no limit. I have contacted Fortune Auto to have it send back. ARGGGG I better get it before middle of December, else I am not going to be able to compare them to the stock suspension at the track. This sucks.

Hopefully it's an isolated incident and they get you fixed up in a timely manner.
