do you get a S-TUNE sticker when you buy the S-TUNE swaybar set?

Fock 06-26-2014 11:47 AM

I'm asking about the color, because in France in case of accident the expert can detect that some parts are not OEM (thus it could change the car behavior and make it unsafe) and then your assurance can refuse to pay you back...

In that case do a wtb ad and run black nismo!

I will contact my Nissan dealer to ask for a Nismo swaybar price :excited:
Thanks

fock- check also if you need new bushings to go with the nismo bar(s).

It was just to say thanks ;)

oh i c... :ugh: :icon17:

just letting you know that the diameter of the bar appears to be different so you might need new bushings to go with the nismo bars. i think they use the same clamps though.

check courtesyparts.com and compare between base and nismo to be sure. :D

I had a quick look to the Nismo swaybar and I have found this information on the forum :
Nismo: Front & Rear Sway-Bar Kit - Part Number: E4600-1EA00US

How to know if this kit includes bushings  (in fact, I don't know if standard/Nismo bushings are the same)

kenchan 06-28-2014 03:06 PM

fock check this site:

it states it includes new bushings if you buy the s-tune set.

Nismo JDM Factory Stabilizer Kit E4600-1EA00US - Nissan 370Z Z34

so i think you do need to buy nismo bushings even if you ran the oem nismo (black) bars.

I don,t know about Nismo oem fitment in place of standard sway bars. But the S-Tune kit doesn't come with new bushings. As can be seen in the following attachment.I can verify as I have them installed.
Attachment 90591

good info

looks like the nismoshop might need to update their site.

You are right guys, it seems Nismo OEM kit includes firmer bushings (as stated on many dealer websites) while S-Tune kit does not :icon14:

I need a little clarification help --- so, there are TWO SETS of NISMO springs available?? IE - "NISMO S-tune" springs, and then NISMO OEM, which I'm assuming are what is stock on a NISMO 370z off the showroom floor?

would anyone have a comparison between the two NISMO springs, for height (of actual springs), spring rates and finishing ride height??

I'm a bit confused on which is which at this point, in regards to what might drop a 370z base :icon14:

The NISMO O.E. springs & shocks are different from NISMO S Tune .Several people have reported issues off no drop or slight increase in ride height. With the O.E. setup. Please see attachments for a comparison off stock vs. NISMO S Tune springs and swaybars. The info for stock spring rate is from Eibach where it is compared to their Pro Kit.
