what is decent coilover for 370z?

I posted few days ago about Eibach prokit, but all of my friend recommended me not to buy a lowering spring and get a decent coilover for better performance.
What are the decent coilover in the aftermarket? How much are they?
I just got 1.5K in the wallet...:shakes head:

RCZ 07-22-2009 11:30 PM

1.5k? get the BC Racing ones. Call Mike @ DDM

Wrong Section of the forum to post this, theres a technical suspension section where you can ask these types of questions..

A little more expensive but the HKS are excellent we have them on our shop car and the ride is great.

LiquidZ 07-23-2009 08:25 AM

BC ER coilovers or KW.

Are you taking about the HKS Hipermax III ??

How much does this application lower the vehicle from Stock?

bigaudiofanat 07-23-2009 04:31 PM

Tein or eiback is a good one for the money.

If you are going for the track, maybe Eibach or other but for cafe racer and annoying BMW types, the NISMO shock, spring and Shocks work very nicely. See Z1Motorsports

wow.

Bster 07-24-2009 03:36 AM

I'm waiting for Bilstein to come out with their B12 series. They had it for the 350Z so it's likely they might develop it for the 370Z.

For what it's worth, PSS10 (B16) is out for the 370Z.

Scott@FontanaNissan 07-24-2009 10:22 AM

KW or BC would be my recommendation for the money. You can't go wrong with either one! And by the way...we carry both of these coilovers!!!

nice

Ryan@Forged 07-31-2009 10:15 AM

I've always been a fan of the KW's. They perform very well on the track while still having a nice feel on the street. They are not too harsh and handle with ease ;) We have these available as well.

travisjb 07-31-2009 10:39 AM

If my car were more oriented for the street, I would have taken RCZ and others up on their advice and gotten the KW's... my car is 99% track, so I picked the BC Racing ER series. KW's are probably great on the track, but BC ER seem to be designed for reliability and serviceability. I couldn't be happier with the result, plenty of adjustability and my car corners extremely flat yet remains responsive over mid-course bumps. Either way, recommend you buy from Forged or DDM!

travisjb 07-31-2009 01:12 PM

by the way, don't take my comment above as condemnation of the KW's... I haven't driven them and for all I know they could be the best ones for your money... all I'm saying is that for the money, I'm happy with the BC's
