Upgrading brakes

So I've decided to upgrade the brakes on my Z from the stock base, to the Z1 370Z / G37 Brake Upgrade Package (Non-Sport Models)
from Z1, Wondering what experience people have had and whether I need to change anything else to get optimum use out of them( ex: calipers/wheels.)

Thanks in advance.

If you are looking to upgrade for aesthetic reasons and light-track use, The z1 akebono sports package is recommended if you want to upgrade from stock.

The only thing that will matter the most after the kit is brake pads. All the options they offer are good enough. If you plan on tracking and never done it before the stock pads will be fine till you push further.

I just bought this same kit because I don't want to spend over a grand on brakes when I don't track. I want the look of drilled/slotted though cause I got new 18's on the way. When this is all installed I'll let you know if you haven't bought them by then
