Alignment problems

On my 2012, Nismo. I've installed swift springs. Ichiba rear camber and toe bolts. It has stock 19" wheels and tires also, and No spacers yet.

But when I took the car for alignment the tech; Says that I need the front camber arms also. And that he could only adjust the Toe degrees on the front.

I though that with swift springs, this was not necessary. And that the camber arms & Toe bolts where only necessary for the rear wheels.

Perhaps the tech is using the base 370z alignment specs.

The tech got the rear alignment done he says, but now the rear feels more jumpy, and I think the Carr rolled better before I got it aligned.

Anyone has experience with this similar setup or problem, that could help me out on what to do to get close to factory specs.

I am concerned of premature tire ware.

And is it true that I have to install the front camber arms also when lowered with swift springs?

Thanks!

I think so too, I will realign somewhere else.

But do you think that the front camber arms are needed also, for the Swift springs drop?

I didn't think it would be necessary, since
It's Just a moderate drop with these springs.

Thanks For your reply!

front camber arms are not needed with your setup but you will eat up the front tires with more negetive camber. check out the SPL camber arms coming out soon!!!

im not sure what yall mean by the guy not knowing what hes talking about. he seems correct to me. you lowered your car and want your alignment back to factory settings. since we dont have any factory camber adjustability up front YES you do need a camber kit to get the front back to spec.

So your mean that if camber arms are installed, then the Front tires will last longer ?

That he could not adjust the rear toe, only the front... OP stated clearly he had toe bolts and rear camber arms.....

toe eats up tires, but yes the front tires will last longer if you decrease camber back to the factory spec AND get the toe back to spec as well.

but the springs you have dont cause THAT great of a camber issue. your toe is more important for tire longetivity.

ideally you should have camber arms front and back.

I agree. I like the -1.6 front camber from the Swifts with stock camber arms. However, when SPL comes out with their parts, I might be swayed.....

toe is definitely more important than the small amount of negative camber you have with the swifts....

once you reach a certain amount of rear camber you start to fight toe. if he had the bolts then yea he should have been able to align it correctly. i didnt see the part about him NOT able to get the rear toe set. i was only commenting on what he said about the fronts.

Thanks everybody for your comments.

So from what I have analyzed, From your suggestions, is that I can adjust the front Toe only to minimize tire ware.

But that I am in no rush to get the front camber arms installed right away, because the toe alignment plays a more important part of tire ware in the front.

But I will re-align elsewere anyways the front and rear just to be safe.

Thanks!
