It usually takes a full two to three quarters before performance parts specific to the vehicle start coming out. Last I heard the car has only been made available to specific developpers here in the U.S. Your best guess is importing parts from Japan, but that'll be costly, and I don't know if JDM performance parts will fit on our cars.

Other than the steering wheel on the other side there shouldnt be any differences...the only thing that may be different is the exhaust because of regulations...otherwise everything should fit. Where are you getting your info hehe?

two to three quarters? there's already vehicle specific stuff in production and some other vehicle specific stuff is already done... Now I do notice you said usually....again...usually stuff starts coming out right away... tuners cant afford to be last on the wagon... You will see stuff on Z's the week after it gets released...

I'm getting this information right from the Nissan dealership around here. Parts complying with North American emissions regulations will only become available mid-summer 2009, at least here in Canada. There's hardly any vehicle-specific parts out for my IS350 already, and the 2009 model has been around for a good while.

Probably because its an IS350.

There's a bunch of 370Z specific parts already in production, some out already.

Who cares about NA emissions regulations. Well other than you. I mean like 90% of aftermarket stuff is "for offroad use only."

I think the springs from a 350Z will fit on this. The G35 springs fit on a g37 without problems.

So, let me get this straight...

350z, g35, g37 and now 370z shares the same suspension setup??

How come the lowering springs are interchangeable between these models?

Thanks in advance ~~

If this is true, i am going to order 350z lowering springs now...

G35 springs fit the G37 but..............

So far the members on myg37 that have had tem on for a while have noticed they are loosing springrate. the G35 springs don't seem to be built for the G37's extra weight. But I dont see weight being an issue with the 370Z

Oky, I will order 350z springs.

Hopefully, everything works out!

Im sorry, why the heck are you buying 350Z springs ahead of time for your 370z? Wait a little, wait for springs made for the car instead of basing your information of a couple of people's educated assumptions. You are going to waste your money if they don't fit. If they do fit, chances are the spring rates are going to be inadequate for the weight of the car and/or the suspension geometry. Whats the rush??

shumby 01-02-2009 09:56 PM

^^^^ agreed. (for like the first time lol)

G in ny 01-02-2009 10:07 PM

I dont know im pretty postive the Z springs will fit. and for springs to come out for the 370 will be 6 or more months. Coilovers will be over a $1000

So what else is there to do. Drive a 4x4 Z lol

msl82 02-04-2009 01:02 PM

wow.....still no lowering springs....:icon14:

i guess i just need to be more patient...

We have confirmation that 350Z springs will fit the 370Z.

MaximumPwr 02-16-2009 01:58 PM

Does any one know if the 370z nismo suspension lowers the car at all? the 350z nismo suspension lowered the car 0.6". I wouldn't mind that on my 370z. Anyways, just wondering.

COR photog 02-16-2009 03:22 PM

Cant wait to see some nice moded Z's!!

Yes, they do. The only thing I haven't been able to confirm is how much. I've read in some articles that it's 15mm, but then others have stated 20mm.
So it's at least 15mm. 25.4mm is 1 inch, so your looking at slightly over 1/2 inch.

MaximumPwr 02-17-2009 08:38 AM

I could live with that. But 1 inch would be better without be to drastic.

MaximumPwr 02-17-2009 09:06 AM

I'm having trouble finding specs on the sway bars too. I might just get hotchkis sway bars. I like how the rear bar is adjustable. I'm not positive, but I guess Nissan hasn't released a spec sheet for the 370Z Nismo products for the good old US of A. Wish they would.

however, isnt the spring rates will differ because the weights of both cars are different?

THMotorsports 02-17-2009 01:21 PM

Eibach has 370Z-specific springs coming out in May.

Very good point.

alan93rsa 02-17-2009 09:26 PM

I believe the wheel rate is different as well.

czheng51 05-28-2011 05:46 PM

So can 370z tein s tech springs fit on a 350z?
