Godspeed sway bars
Just curious if anybody has these, how are they performance and fitment wise?
I want stillen or hotchkis but I came across a good deal for a new set of godspeed but down want to waste my time and money if they suck. My car is DD and don't track..... Yet, but want to. Thanks |
Front sway bar is 30.3 mm compared to hotchkis 35mm. Rear sway bar is 25.36mm comapred to hotchkis 28.5. That speaks for itself. Hotchkis rears also have multiple settings so you can adjust the stiffness where the Godspeed ones only have 1 setting. They are what they are. Hotchkis of course will be a better track set up once you wanna get serious. Better to do it right the first time instead of spending double to rebuy. Godspeed would be decent for your everyday canyon carver but will never see the track. Hotchkis will stiffen up your suspension making the ride rougher for daily driving but there's gotta be a trade off somewhere. The choice is yours sir :tiphat:

It also depends what the wall thickness is
|
They seem like a pretty good deal but the lack of feedback from other buyers and the lack of adjustability are a big turn off. That combined with the Eibachs being not much more, while being one of the lightest as well as one of the stiffest, I would go with the Eibachs.

What are they made of? If the metals are different, sizing/ thickness won't be comparable

I wouldn't buy any Godspeed product. A few years ago I bought Godspeed front A-arms for my 350z, fitment was so terrible I had to send them back. You get what you pay for.

Whiteline is the only way to go IMO
|
OP, this is why I wouldn't cheap out when it comes to any kind of suspension parts for our cars- http://www.the370z.com/brakes-suspen...lly-break.html
Ichiba, Godspeed, Megan... all the same Ebay crap, just different names. |
Haha, that's what I figured. I'll go hotchkis or eibach, whichever presents itself first.
Thanks. Lol I guess nobody here has bought them... That says enough. |
I have them and there not bad at all. For a $190 there perfect fitment was spot on and the car response reall improved.

The front away bar is stiffer than whiteline!!!!
I'll ask clintfocus to chime in, I just saw this on Instagram some huge discounts |
I got hotchkis (did it right the first time) also dont forget to grab some new end links... I say go for SPL
|
I know this a few years later, but I have whiteline sways on my g37.....so a I grabbed the solid godspeed sways for the Z. I think overall it was like $109 shipped new. Fitment was perfect.....I miss the adjustable option like on my whitelines......but overall, I'm very happy.
