Just ordered spacers!

Hey guys, finally ordered the first mod for my '11 370z Sport Package...hate the tucked look of the 19's, so will be pushing the fronts out 20mm, and the rears 25mm..will post pics when they come in!

Here's a pic of what the spacers will be going on

I've seen 10/10, 10/15, and 15/15 on Nismos. All looked great. Depends on how far you want to push it :)

Realale 12-12-2012 01:19 PM

Thanks, I was thinking 15's all around

Yea, I'm pretty pumped to see how it will turn out. I went with NNR

I don't think they're name brand. If they're good, I'll let you guys know. If they're bad and I die, then ummm... yea, you'll hear about it on the news

scoot87 12-13-2012 12:33 PM

scoot87 03-03-2013 01:29 PM

Totally dig it!

scoot87 03-03-2013 02:42 PM

Been there plenty. Looking nice

zefaulter 03-03-2013 07:48 PM

That looks very nice! You haven't lowered your Z, correct? I'm getting 25 installed on my rears for winter because they are 235/18 only. I ask because I haven't seen any stock height with 25mm spacers on rear..
More photos please!

No issues whatsoever with handling. I did have to raise my coils in the front a tad once I got the perfect alignment. But handling is still spot on, no regrets 10k later.

scoot87 03-04-2013 12:23 PM

Here's another angle as requested

Do I need to have the spacers or wheels re-torqued after like 80 miles?

scoot87 03-04-2013 12:31 PM

Here is a before shot

That's what I was told.

Edit: so, stock height?

scoot87 03-04-2013 03:00 PM

oh my bad, totally forgot to get back to you! Yea, it's stock height... thinking about lowering it 1.3" maybe

scoot87 03-04-2013 03:00 PM

let me know what kind of angles you want for photos

Am I re-torquing the actual spacers or the wheels?

I called the place I'm getting mine done and I was told the wheels should be enough

corner3garage 03-05-2013 10:35 PM

The Nismo Guys love the 15mm spacers on theirs! Base/sport bodies love the 20/25mm combo with swift springs!

blumango 03-05-2013 10:45 PM

Guys, I'm new to this car. What is "swift" which you guys are talking about? Also, if I intend to run 295 tyres at rear, will 25mm spacer be too much on a non-lowered car?

Realale 03-05-2013 10:52 PM

Looking good

Swift is a brand but here we are referring to springs. They replace the stock and lower the car by an inch or so

scoot87 03-06-2013 10:56 AM

Should I do H&R or Swift springs?

My buddy has a slammed evo x and it takes him a half hour to go over any slight bump or incline in the road. Ain't nobody got time for that!

I'm trying to lower mine but not to the point where I have to watch every contour in the roads.

H&R is a little too low for my taste. If your Z is a DD, I'd suggest going with the Swifts. Most reviews say they preform a little better too.

LOL I just read that...

Why did you decide you need to lower your car? if you have to, get Swift. I'm recommending it based on what I've read here not my own experience

scoot87 03-09-2013 02:30 PM

Yea thanks guys, I was leaving towards swift too ... assuming I decide to lower it.

I ordered my H&Rs with studs built in. Easier to install. Don't need to open up your breaks.
