Project Mu

would it be possible to stick Project Mu calipers and pads on the non-sport stock rotors? they just look so sesssy!

easier/cheaper to powdercoat the stock ones to that pmu aqua/turquoise.

shabarivas 06-30-2009 03:31 PM

will a powdercoat be sufficient to withstand track temps?

RCZ 06-30-2009 03:50 PM

Sure, they have high temp paint.

Also I was kinda joking, both things are a terrible idea.

To each his own though and since I'm trying to be helpful, your best bet would be the paint...since you want the look more than anything. Going to be a few hundred bucks instead of a few thousand.

i don't know much about brakes, but wouldn't the 4 piston design help? i would think even just the pmu calipers on stock rotors would help braking along with helping with the looks. if i'm wrong, i'll just squash the idea altogether and just save up more for the whole kit lol.
