Not trying to revive this thread but just add information for future readers.

These came up in a discussion I was having with a pretty knowledgeable individual. The PSS10s are adjustable, however the adjustment valves only have a noticeable affect on the high speed damping, which is not ideal by any means and for all intents and purposes makes the adjustment largely useless.

To revive this bitch even more, almost all coils are for high speed dampening and rebound. Those are the first 2 'ways' then you get into 3 and 4 way, which you find on the REALLY expensive coilovers, which I think only JRZ makes to fit our cars

Oh, and I have a set for sale:

Back in my days it was 2 choices, Bilsteins or Koni. End . Then came along all these other two bit companies, I remember tein shocks and their early teething problems LOL.

Almost shat myself when I saw the price for the JRZ 14 31.
$13K

At this level of shock performance, you get what you pay for and the price increment reaches the point of diminishing return fairly quickly. JRZ make really good shocks but the level of investment equals semi-pro race-car investment

To step up from Koni 2811 series (70's F1 technology) to Sachs current technology for instance is a factor of 10 cost increase (A$800 per corner to A$8K per corner).

Well not to bring up necro thread but this came up as I was searching up about the bilsteins and this came up. Anyhow I seriously doubt you are tuning the high speed as that is basically impossible in a non piggyback mono tube shock as all the high speed compression and rebound are done through the shim stacks the external adjusters and adjusting a needle that is opening or closing the orific size of the common bleed port which has a greater effect on rebound than compression as is often labeled as rebound in other moto sports.
