Anyone with 20x25mm spacers on stock 19's

I would like to get some spacers, but not sure if 25mm in the rear is to much. If anyone has this set up I would love to see some photos. Thanks.

David; I'm pretty sure I'm not going with 25mm all around, but maybe in the back. What type & brand are they?

MajorW; Thanks for posting the photos. Looks like it fills the fenders out nicely. Are they sticking out at all? It looks like the rears might be.

tonybui 04-28-2012 09:18 PM

Rear stick out a little bit, very aggressive. Get H&R

delusional 04-28-2012 11:35 PM

25mm in the rear is perfect imo.

Delusional, that looks really nice. Do you have any pics from the back? The rears don't appear to stick out at all from that pic.

Guys, I'm looking at spacers too and found this thread very useful. However I've heard spacers have a negative effect on the handling. How true is this? I'm no track racer, but can get agressive on the road from time to time. Also would you recommend any particular type of spacer?

sfearl1 05-03-2012 05:01 PM

no negative effects here. larger turning radius is all. just make sure you have them torqued to proper specs and you should be fine.

Ichiba, Project Kics, Z1 all have good rep for making quality spacers.

Perfect setup for stock 19" Rays. I had all 20's and then increased the rears to 25 and I think they look great.

370, How much does the rear tire stick out from the top of the fender? Your close up photo does not show this.

It doesn't stick out. No chance of rubbing at all. Just blends so much better with the body lines

370Zfeeler 05-04-2012 08:29 PM

I'm running 20's all around, lowered on Tein's; regret not going 25mm in the back.

blurae 06-15-2012 05:08 PM

I'm new to all this so bare with me, any rubbing issues with that setup?
Are those front spacers quick bolt on,s.

Imperial 06-16-2012 02:28 AM

I run 20 front and 25 rear spacers on my OEM accessory wheels, the only time it rubbed would be on hard bumps up front.

NXTAZEE 06-16-2012 10:59 AM

I have had no issues with rubbing at all.

blurae 06-16-2012 11:13 AM

spacers

whats the best one's to put on the front?

sfearl1 06-16-2012 11:33 AM

20mm's looks good up front

homeryansta 06-16-2012 11:43 AM

wow nice! any change in studs?

sfearl1 06-16-2012 11:50 AM

I just used the bolt-on type. No change in studs for 20mm up front.

370ZilverZ 06-16-2012 12:28 PM

Ichiba V2 bolt on spacers all around on mine. Just make sure you use anti-sieze on the back of the spacer and you take the time and effort to torque, drive, remove the wheel and re-tourque then drive and re-torque your wheels. Improper torque techniques will most likely be the cause of any failure. It may seem like overkill to some of you, but I like the peace of mind that they will stay on.

pseftis 06-17-2012 05:17 PM

are you guys all in spec with 25mm in the rear? dont want to be changing tires every couple of months

No, but I'm on Swifts. I assume you would be able to get close to spec on stock suspension.

sparky 06-17-2012 06:12 PM

I just ordered 20 front and 25 rear from Stillen. The front are replacement stud and rears are bolt on. They didn't offer the replacement type in 25.
I'll post before and after photos once they're on.
