Loose rear end...
Anyone experience some looseness in the rear end after drop/coilover install but before alignment? Just installed BCs and SPC rears... assuming it is because I haven't yet gotten it properly aligned but just wanted some input.

Misalignment causes instability and poor traction, especially misaligned toe. Get it properly aligned and you'll feel a difference of night and day.

Thank you sir... going to do so tomorrow morning. I bought the SPC arms used without toe bolts so hopefully there is enough adjustment in the stock system to put me back to normal otherwise I'll be purchasing the bolts.

Experienced it after my swift spring install. Alignment took care of it.

Also experiencing a loose rear end.. did the toe bolts fix the problem? I'm running about a degree of toe after alignment with factory toe bolts.

And yeah, if the toe is off, the car can be practically undriveable! If the rear is really squirrely, I'd get the alignment done now and then realign if needed after the springs settle. |
I did, it was really swirly and felt unstable. coilovers were installed on a friday evening didn't get it aligned till Monday. It rained the whole weekend and felt unbelievably weird. the alignment made it perfect again.

also be aware of the shock damper settings. If you have it set too high the car will become unpredictable. I myself don't own coilovers on this car but have had that experience where the car can become very unpredictable. One or two clicks at a time when adjusting them around.

Cool, thanks for the help guys! Going to get an alignment now after installing the SPC toe bolts last night.
