as much as I would like to, you probably shouldn't. They will just darken with the heat of heavy track use. Especially once you get a few more track sessions under your belt, the calipers will be getting really, really hot. These are my stoptech rotors, and they looked like this after their first track day.

If you get brake cooling ducts, I will coat them.

Oh wow. Funny thing I was just looking at Discovery Parts site after talking to them at the track yesterday about buying some ducting. See what happens.

you may as well just have Sharif work you up a quote for some Stoptech Trophy's. You are going to get them in the next year anyways, whether you want to or not.

Add me to the list of folks who got the Z1 brake upgrade. I am absolutely loving it. Course, I won mine in a raffle.

How did you handle the larger rotor in the rear and fitting with the dust shield? My car is literally in the shop right now getting these installed and they're giving me issues with the dust shield being to small. I told them most people are trimming the shield so that it fits but the shop doesn't want to do it. Not sure what to do here.

I heard about that problem before I bought the parts so I decieded to buy the rear dust shields, a lot of work and hassle, you will have to remove the hub to get to it, also we had to unbolt the control arms to make some room... If they do not want to trim it then I would go to your local Nissan dealship to get the oem shields for sport package that should be the quickest way to get them unless you know of somewhere else you can get them fast

Thanks for the pm and quick reply droidriguez. I was able to talk the shop into trimming the dust shield so there hopefully won't be any more issues there.
