Difference in Camber Kits

I'm looking to drop my Z after the snow melts and in my search for parts I've come upon something that I can't seem to figure out concerning different camber kits available for our cars (SPC, SPL, and Kinetix to be specific).

When looking at front camber kits there appears to only be one design available, the ones from SPC and Kinetix. I know the SPC allows for caster adjustment and the Kinetix doesn't (which I've read should be a non-issue for the average person) and that some people were having problems with the SPC arms slipping (which I read they fixed) but they are basically the same design.

The big difference in kits can be seen in the rear. The SPC kit has rear camber arms that have a bend in them to adjust rear camber and rear camber cam bolts for adjusting more camber as well as toe. The Kinetix and SPL kits on the other hand utilize straight rear camber arms to adjust rear camber and traction arms to "fine tune the rear suspension and allow slight adjustment of rear toe."

My question is given these two different approaches to rear alignment, which set-up is better? Or more so, how do they function differently from one another to complete the same task from a technical stand point. Can one setup really be considered better than the other or do they simply offer different pros and cons?

I've found some threads asking which camber kit is best and the general consensus I've been finding is that people say go with SPC. Now that's all fine and dandy if that really is the way to go, but the problem is that I haven't seen a post where anyone explains why. Is the camber arm and bolt better than the camber arm and traction arm?

SPL all the way, great engineering great product. W will be running their arms on our 350z!

Do you know if their design offers and advantages or disadvantages to the SPC design?

i think its mostly a personal choice, all great products

That's the feeling I was starting to get. I like the idea of the two separate arms instead of filling/drilling to make the bolt fit.

Your best choice right now is SPC front and rear kit. Just make sure the top bolt on the front camber arms are real tight. About 150lbs if TQ to help against slippage.

SPL doesn't make a front kit for us yet. Which is sad. It would be the best setup if so. And the SPL rear camber arms are just so costly. But I wouldn't mind buying there rear toe arms being I'm on a true type coilvers setup.

The only real disadvantage I have seen with their product is the price for most people.

I never actually saw SPL parts in my hand until about a year ago and I do see why people purchase them. The high quality of parts used like their new titanium option for some of their arms.

With the Z uppers they do have camber and caster adjustment independently.

You can't do this unless your on true type coilover setup. For the toe adjustment is a bolt (either stock or after market) and is connected to the spring perch on normal setup or basic coilover kits.

SPL doesn't make any front kits for the 370 yet.

I was referring to the camber arms and traction arms, the toe arms are a different story. The description, at least for the Kinetix, said the traction arms could be used to dial in the suspension and make slight adjustments to toe. I'm not sure what the extent of "slight adjustments" is, though.

Yea. I've never been sure how they work expect to help dial out bumpsteer. Which our cars do have.
