How much do I know to adjust the rear struts and springs so I know they are even is there a mark or something I am missing ?

To make sure they're even front to rear or side to side? Either way, there's no mark or anything on them. Coilovers are just about infinitely adjustable, so marks would be meaningless.

I just measure the distance between the lower mount and the lower locking collar and make sure they're even.

Well u guess I'm asking how much to I ore load the springs ? Just till ther tight?

Yep. Spring pre-load should be just until the spring perch is barely snug against the spring. You should be able to grab the spring and twist it around the shock with just a little effort, but the spring shouldn't be able to wiggle/bounce up and down. Ride height adjustment should be done with the adjustable lower mount. Doing it like this will keep your shock travel intact and keep you from destroying your shocks by bottoming them out.

Yes, the rears are the same. The only coilovers that should be adjusted differently are ones with seperate spring and shock in the rear or ones with non-adjustable lower mounts. With separate spring/shock (sometimes called OEM Style), you set your ride height with the spring and then set the shock stroke by adjusting the lower mount. With non-adjustable lower mounts you set the right height be adjusting spring droop (the opposite of pre-load).

Yes mine are separate in the back but the lower mount is adjustable

In this case, turn the collar on the lower mount (shock tower) the same number of turns as the collars on the spring perch, right?

That's what I'm asking the instructions are not very good

If you look a the two Photos i just linked this is how your rear should look.....except your rear spring perch has more tension on the springs. (that was before i put in the rubber hat that is supposed to go up there)

The way i did it was measure from the top of the gold collar on the strut itself up to the gold mounting collar at the top and then match whatever number i got from there from side to side so both ended up even. It took a bit of back and forth but meh.

The issue i had with the BCs was i couldent drop just 1 inch, i had to slam it. Yea they are very adjustable....down to the road lol. My solution was to get a slightly longer spring in the rear and adjust the strut accordingly. I have yet to take pictures of that tho.

Now there is always the chance im horribly wrong...but the good thing about posting to a forum that if you are...SOMEONE will always be happy to tell you haha.

So u didn't adjust the spring perch at all?

i adjusted both. What i meant was i put in a longer spring and adjusted the perch to get it snug while at the same time adjusting the strut for height.

But how much did you adjust the spring compared to the strut ?
