Yes it is

I put SS lines from Z1 on with Valvoline Synthetic dot 4 and the pedal is great nice and firm and seems to be more responsive.

Yes you will feel a difference but it's not necessary unless you track the car. Nor is putting in something like Motul RBF-600 brake fluid. Now if you track the car, then these things will become invaluable! If you don't ever plan to track the car I would say it's just a waste of money but to each their own!

Finally got them installed -- big difference from stock.

Basically you can much more easily modulate your braking -- light inputs result in more stopping force (weirdly, it fools your brain into thinking you should be pushing harder to get it to slow down as much as it is... takes a little bit of getting used to), and when you stop, you STOP.

Great upgrade -- can't wait to get my mu street-sport pads on

I put in dot 5.1 in when I got my SS lines. Didnt see why I shouldn't have put in the few extra bucks per bottle for real quality fluid.
