Alignment after drop?

I'm scheduled to have an alignment tomorrow but I do have a questions.

I'm dropped on the H&R springs and have the ichiba 20mm spacers all around. I've had them on for quite some time now. I know I need to fix the camber along with the other things as i can tell by the wear on my DR's when I goto the track.

I don't have any camber kits. Will they be able to adjust my camber, toe and caster and bring me back to at least stock specs without the camber kit? Am I just wasting money taking it in if they can't bring it back close?

I would want to have almost no camber at all in the rear for traction reasons for the days when I hit the track. I don't autox here so thats not my concern. I just want to be able to maximize my traction out the hole and ensure i have even wear on my tires.

Please let me know if its worth going if I don't have a camber kit. Thanks.

I dropped on Swifts which dont drop it as low as H&Rs. I almost got back to factory spec. Id venture to guess that with the H&Rs you will not get back to stock, though I could be wrong. Personally I like having a little extra camber. Hopefully someone dropped on H&Rs chimes in and gives you a definitive answer.

Got a four wheek alignment done and boy were my specs bad. I had more than -3 camber in the rear and the front were about more than -2. They adjusted it a but but could only adjust up to a .2 difference on all sides without a camber kit.

They were able to fix my toe and caster though. I really need to get full camber kit as now I can see why i can't get traction at the track even with DR's and all. Since being lowered I have not been able to get consistent times and my times before being lowered were consistent.

If I had a scanner I'd show a print out of how my alignment looked prior to being fixed.:shakes head:

Anyone got any tips as to what full camber kit is relatively cheap but is good?

A large amount of people are running the SPC camber kit.

I have the front and rear kits in stock.

Though I'd say you should re-torque your spacers to make sure those aren't loose. I don't think the camber you have now will cause you to have inconsistent times so your spacers might be a little loose... If it remains the same then consider the camber kit.

You guys might want to check out the Eibach kits. I have it with the eibach drop springs and I'm very happy. My spacers are 20 front and back.

I have camber kits on h&r springs and spacers 15/20 and my front are 1.10 and
rear has 1.80. Thread wear is excellent - yet again, big thanks to Stillen for
doing my alignment.
