Camber question
 

So I got my Z into a wreck about a year ago. Everything was fixed, got an alignment and everything was gravy for about a year. Two days ago I got new tires as my rears were completely bald.(due to the alignment getting progressively worse) When the guy was doing my alignment, he showed me that my right rear camber bar was bent, and even with the adjustment maxed out, he couldnt get the camber or toe into spec. So basically my next step is to get a SPC Camber kit. Only the right rear is jacked up. Should I just get one kit for the right rear, or do I, and should I get 2 sets for the left and right? Hopefully you understand this, and someone can give me a viable option.

One set will do both sides.

yeah your better off just getting the set for the Rear. (both wheels).

although it sucks that the insurance or fixers didnt figure out that the bar was bent and replace it.

and don't slack on this.. having camber will just cause uneven wear, but the toe being off its going to shred your tire in no time.

It will be completely worth it to get both. Don't ever cheap out on personal safety. You always lose in the end.

Ok thanks for the support. Also, If I lower on Eibach springs, should I also get the front camber kit as well?

Your fronts won't be that drastically out of alignment to justify them immediately, plus they aren't cost friendly. If you can, might as will, if not, it's not dangerous.

Ok, one more question. Is there a DIY on how to install the SPC camber kit? Is a PITA? I would like to avoid install cost, since I will have to pay for an alignment anyways.

The fronts are fairly easy install IMO. The rear is a little different. Especially when it comes to the toe bolts. The holes have to be enlongated with a dremal. This is what most people fear. A little bit of knowledge would help. But could be done if you have confidence. You search here alot you'll probably get a great idea of what to do.

I would look at it like this... If you've ever done it before, or you look at it and go 'piece of cake', then you could do it yourself...

But if you look at it and even if for the slightest brief moment, you have hesitation... Let a shop handle it.

Ordered from Z1 Motorsports today. I'm getting a shop to install it tomorrow. $75 with a free alignment.
