G37 Akebono Big Brakes on 370Z Touring - Need help, please

Hi guys,

Found a local Craigslist posting from a guy wanting to trade his '08 G37 Akebono big brakes for stock brakes + $700.

I'm loving the idea of this, but am wondering if his Akebonos will fit under my OEM 18" 370Z touring wheels.

Does anyone happen to know this, or is there a way I can check my car's spec sheet and determine if I'm going to have any problems.

As always, thanks everyone. :)

Yep, the Akebonos will clear the base 18s perfectly fine so you won't have any issues. Good price on the Akebonos plus trade!

They'll fit for sure. Go for it. The Europen models have 18's with the Akebono's option. I think Australia does too.

The Stock 18"s fit, however the non-sport spare does not clear the akebonos, you might look for the nice looking sport pkg spare or get an repair kit/ Roadside assistance.

i have a similar issue with my BBK kit, I can't get the sport spare to fit over my 8 pot front brake. Another solution to what you can do is mount the rear wheel in the front, as it will clear the front brake, and put the spare in the back. A non sport spare will clear the back brakes of the Akebonos.

Okay cool, so it sounds like I'll be fine - except for the spare. Not a huge deal, I can just tow if I get in a pinch.

A thousand thanks to everybody for the feedback. Now if I could just get the seller to reply to me. :)

Don't forget that you also need the hardlines from the body brake line to the caliper.
