Racing Brake Akebono 2 Piece Rotors - Front and Rear

After following all the various (albeit limited) offerings for 2 piece rotors for Akebono brakes - I've concluded the current development by Racing Brake to be another option (considering weight savings, quality and price) I presently have a set of front RB two-piece rotors and the quality of the rotors is outstanding.

They are in development for rear two piece and have a current Group Buy that includes discounted fronts.

Here is the sign up list:

Pat put me in for the front and the rear Rotors.
I want in on the group buy for both front and rear,

Those are some sizeable weight savings, it makes me wish I had Akebonos. :(

i was about to order dba's for the front but i guess i need to research these a little...

NewYorkJon34 02-28-2011 10:00 PM

I want to order these, how can I sign up on that list?

Lets get the vendor on here and look into getting a 370 group buy started...

Can someone who's on that forum get my name in the batch... I may/may not get these depending on how my wheel deal goes... I wanna get my name in the hat for the discount.

But can someone do a breakdown of what the Grand Total for both Front and Rears in each Tier cause the way they have it broken out is kinda hard to do the math on right now... ? :ugh2:

Go to the Racing Brake forum and sign up and post is the only way to do it.

I signed up, what are they going to contact us when it's time to order?

There isn't a whole lot of demand here for 2pc rotors... neither RA's nor THM's group buys hit their minimum... I think RA honored theirs for the two people who signed up...

not yet there isn't. once people start looking to replace their rotors, i bet there will be.

jnaut 03-02-2011 08:19 AM

the way they have the pricing listed.... kinda confusing!

sig11 03-02-2011 09:06 AM

The Girodisc rotors are a lot more affordable. :)
