Just throwing this out there. D2 racing has an air suspension product as well. I researched them and the K-sports. As a matter a fact, there was thread here can't remember what it was, I think "D2 air suspension". Anyway, all of the kits are essentially the same. What I found was that it's more important that the installer knows what they are doing and that the manufacturer has a good customer service history. After really looking into it, I elected not to do it. One of those cases where the risk outweighs the reward.

To compare to our Kontrol Pro (street coilover) regarding damping setting Kontrol pro on 75% hard is the Slide Kontrol at 25% hard. Its a great set up for someone who plans to track drive and street drive. |
Im guessing the customer service history is what did it for you?
I emailed them asking some questions but never got an answer.... I guess potential customers arent worth answering. @ksport one of the questions I asked which is pretty easy to answer I hope that I was asking when I emailed was... 1) Where does the tank/compressors mount? Trunk? do yuo lose your spare? 2) How loud are the compressors and if you arent adjusting the height at just cruising how often do the compressors run or kick on? Thanks! Quote:

The tank and compressors mount where ever you want them to mount. Most people go for a trunk setup. Ksport supplies a mounting platform with the Pro and Pro Plus kits. I'm sure with some thought, you could have enough slack in your wires and lines to allow you to tilt the mounting platform backwards and be able to get to the spare. The compressors won't run at all once the tank and bags are filled to your desired pressure. Ksport uses Viair compressors, some of the best on the market, and they're pretty quiet. |

We do answer all of our customers as Scott said I am on top of all emails and forums so if you dont get an answer just shoot one of us an PM and we will get ya take care of! Most people mount their tanks in the trunk, but it can honestly be mounted just about anywhere depending on the room you have available. Loudness is very subjective considering whats loud to you might not be loud to me (Im a DJ so I listen to everything at level 75% lol). I would consider them quiet though. The compressors are set to come on at 165-200 PSI, they will kit on at 165PSI and then cut off at 200PSI. -Jade |
Sooooo what's the ride quality like? Pros / cons.... How much handling will I be sacrificing?
I've been in a bagged truck and it was harsh as fuhhh but I don't think this is in any way similar to bags for a truck. |
No action for quite some time now.. any update Jade?

Please let me know if there is anything that hasnt been covered that I can touch base on. |
That's comforting because I am a complete noob when it comes to air ride suspensions. I'm in a bit of a pickle between accuair and ksports suspension, and literally just a few minutes ago, I was watching a video of an install that ran the accuair system with the ksport coils. My main concerns are, why the hefty price and what are the benefits of ksport over accuair's suspension?

womp womp wompppp

Well wow, neither the Ksport vendor nor vivid which seems to be a distributor for them are interested in answering potential customer's questions? On a system that is sold for 5k so i assume has quite the damn income margin built in unlike 300 dollar part sales, were having to sit wait for a response when someone bumped it twice? its 2014 btw the last reply was in 2013. great job vendors.
Whats going on in here lol? Where the hell is the customer service? |
What were the risk you mentioned ?????
don't know which to go with Coilovers or the Pillows ???? |
