I agree if your gonna install springs, you might as well do the toe bolts. You can take the rear springs out at the same time when removing the old toe bolts anyway.

The guys at KamiSpeed are great and know their stuff. Saved me $$ on CA tax. I could have had them drop ship them from Swift USA in CA to my house in Northern CA.... BUT....would have had to pay CA sales tax. They recommended to save me $$ by waiting a little longer to arrive at door step...IF they were to ship from CA to Florida and back to CA, thus saving me sales taxes (no sales tax in Florida). Like I said they look out for forum members.

I purchased 2 sets of swift springs from them and they cut me a killer two-fer price. One of the perks for housing two 370Z's in the same garage is on negotiating mod prices. Great service at any quantity and great follow up with tracking numbers and ETA's of containers arrivals from across the pond.

No, I am not browning up for a rep point.....it's not my style. I just like giving credit where credit is due . KamiSpeed FTW :tiphat:

Cheers - Curtis Lewis

anyone know if the swifts will rub with 265/35/19's in the front with 20mm spacers?

wheee! 01-18-2013 08:46 AM

That will be tight and I would say go max 15mm spacer...

damn then that means i cant use the bolt-on type lol

stevent85 01-18-2013 09:09 AM

Almost every brand spacer has a 15mm bolt on style. Anything less uses the stud replacement.

I've read anything lower than 20mm in bolt-on type will not work for the fronts on our cars....

Not at all - confirmed I have been running 265/35/19 up front for the last 25k miles....and no rub AT ALL. And I am running 20mm spacers up front.

stance :
Front: 265/35/19 on sport rims - RE11 tires, h&R 20 mm spacers (stud replacement).
Rear: 285/35/19 on sport rims - RE11 tires, 25mm H&R spacers

The look is very aggressive, phat arse :ughdance:

Let me say it again THEY WILL NOT RUB

Awesome! I'm actually going to have the exact same setup as you, only I was planning on doing 20mm spacers all around, unless the 25's look better? I don't want the rear's sticking out past the fenders. Getting the RE-11's as well in those exact sizes. Tirerack said the stagger is not recommended with those sizes, said I should stick with the stock 245/40/19's up front with the 285's out back, how is the tire setup working out for you? Any issues with the VDC or anti-lock brakes? I think that tirerack guy didn't really know what he was talking about.

They stick out just enough ...translation - it looks like something is happening in the rear. That is the comment I get all the time. 20mm in the back I have seen in person next to my car and it just looks like stock. Keep in mind what one persons considers flush another person has different view on what he considers flush. The tire ratio is within with those front and rear tire sizes. I did alot of research and consulted with many gurus on this forum. That is the ideal stagger size to go with any larger and the rim may not be happy with a fatter tire, talking about the rear if you are considering 305 in rear. My friend stick with your setup you are considering 265/35 and 285/35. No issues at all VDC or tire wear. Camber is setup within OEM SPEC'S . Which was my goal to save the tire life and still keep it crisp and quick on turn-in's.

I would post up pics, but I am really too lazy. Another member posted up same spacer setup, not sure if he was running same tire brand and sizes. It's a few pages back. I will try to upload to my photo libray and link it over for you. Will try sometime today. The key to getting the correct photo angle to really make it as live as possible is a tricky shot, especially with photographing the 370Z for that, its just not an easy car to shoot and get that look. I think I have a couple that I feel is that look and close enough to being there in person.
