clicking sound when pressing brake pedal = brake booster problem?

Has anyone noticed a clicking-type sound when you compress your brake pedal(engine must be on). I'm told this is a brake booster issue by mechanics. Nissan says 370Z make a low-grade sound typical of all 370Z.

Nissan will replace booster(b/c in this instance it's louder than normal) under warranty, but Nissan across Canada has none in stock(order from USA or Japan)!

Would you buy this vehicle(used 2009), knowing this issue or buy it & wait till part comes in for repair??

Has anyone noticed this??

I've not noticed it, but it's not a big deal really. Had one fail on my wifes older g35 right before selling it.

As long as they replace it you should be fine. I would make them cover all costs though.

Even if it were to fail, you could still stop the car. Just have to push 2x as hard.

If it's a car you really like, I say go for it. Barring any other problems.
