Spacers

I'm pretty sure that I know the answer to this already, but I wanted to get other opinions anyway. I am thinking of getting the H&K spacers but I won't be lowering my Z since I am afraid of scraping on the local roads that I travel on most of the time. If I put 15mm on the front and 25 mm on the back I am hoping that the extra width will give me the look that I want without lowering the car. My question is this: Is there any reason to get an alignment after I add spacers? My thinking is that since I am not really changing the geometry of the suspension - just moving the wheels out in the same plane that an alignment wouldn't be needed. Am I off base here?

The spacers probably won't affect your alignment enough to get it checked. I think after I installed front spacers the car lowered a couple mm.

First off you will not need to get an allignment after adding spacers, the brand you wanna get is "H&R" & I would get 15mm front/20mm rear. I hope that anwsers some of your questions as I'm sure other members would either tell you to search for it yourself or flame you, lol

Agreed. No more than 20mm in the rear otherwise your tire may protrude past the wheel arch. 15mm was perfect in the rear for me at stock ride height.

Good question and I agree no alignment necessary IF you are NOT lowering the car from stock height.

Not to take this off topic, but I was wondering if I should get the alignment AFTER lowering the car with springs AND BEFORE installing the wheel spacers?

OR get the alignment AFTER springs and wheel spacers are installed at the same time?

^Just get everything done at the same time. The spacers won't affect your allignment & since you only bought springs, your allignment should not be thrown off too bad.
