Gspec SS Brakes lines + brake Fluid?
 

Im going to be ordering new SS brakes lines & need to know what brake fluid to get since my car is my DD. I was looking at the motul 600 brake fluid but that might be better suited for cars that go to the track. Any suggestions on for a DD car would be appreciated. Thanks :tiphat:

Motul RBF and ATE Super are both great brands.

AP Formula 5.1 is a great all-around DD and light track day fluid.

Our Cars need 2 liters right? Ya I know motul is a popular brand for track use, I just want something that will last longer but be better then stock.

I use Motul RBF 600 on my DD...I can find it online, and its even cheaper if I buy local at Harley Davidson shop (close to my house) or at a moped shop where its even cheaper since I save shipping costs and waiting time since I live on Oahu, Hawaii..

How often would I have to change my brake fluid if I went ahead with the motul RBF 600?

We installed a set of Goodridge SS lines and Motul RBF600 fluid on a customers Z, and performs great on the street. It's a noticeable improvement over stock lines and fluid.

Goodridge lines are the best and I use Motul RBF600 and really like the difference of the lines and fluid. It has given about 15% firmness in the pedal and now I don't have to worry about the fluid if I track the car. The fluid seems to work good on the street too.

All brake fluids should be changed at least every two years for street driving. More often if tracking the car.

If it is gonna be on a DD, I would suggest ATE Super Blue, simply for the fact that it is less hygroscopic when compared to the Motul. It doesn't have as much of an affinity for absorbing water thus giving you have a little longer span of time between fluid changes. Another feather in ATE's cap is the fact that they make Blue and Gold colored brake fluid making changes very easy to know when the last of the old fluid has been bled out. Just my .02 that I picked up from a race team.
