CHALLENGE - 370Z Comp Suspension released - now shipping!

Challenge, a GT Motoring company, just received our production 370Z coilover kit from the factory in Japan. Challenge suspension products are a joint venture of Modex A /Buddy Club Japan, and GT Motoring. All suspension/shock kits are manufactured with Japanese components. Our oem spring supplier is Hypercoil. Hyperco springs are of the highest quality, and found on some of the most winning race teams in the world in Formula, Super GT, NASCAR, and Touring car etc.

When we set out to start our suspension line, we made sure we reached out to some of the top established companies in race suspensions for components and engineering assistance. ALL kits will be assembled in the USA at GT Motoring and be able to be serviced, rebuilt, repaired at our location. We are factory trained to service, revalve, and custom spec our suspensions! ( on site service to begin shortly )

The Comp kit shown is in the production monotube, steel configuration. 16 levels of adjustment. Adjusting rebound and compression at the same time.

Comp Coilover Suspension

Developed for both track and street driving, the COMP damper kit is a complete coilover suspension solution. The 370z kit features mono-tube, steel, 16 level adjustable dampers that adjust rebound and compression simultaneously. Each kit includes full pillow ball upper mounts with aluminum mounting plates for optimal suspension response and durability. Damper bases are machined and argon gas welded steel with a gloss black powdercoat finish. Brand new nuts are included for mounting the bases to the lower control arms bolts where needed. Top quality Hyperco 60mm racing coil springs in 12k in front and progressive full size spring in the rear are our default spec. Yes, ride height is seperate adjustment from spring load.

jeffreyfranz 02-19-2010 10:47 AM

How about making compression and rebound independently adjustable, is that possible?

GT Motoring 02-19-2010 11:14 AM

Not at this time. Something will be released within the next year.

How would these fare compared to KW's or Tein's in terms of price vs capability? I mean if I were to buy these to get Coil-Overs without breaking the bank, would I be getting my money's worth?

KW's I know are good, but a purple/gold color scheme really doesnt suit me lol.

Teins would be my choice if I go for broke, but if I get get a happy medium on price and a color scheme that I really like, why not right?

Chris I wouldn't be to concerned on color unless you do a lot of three wheel motion ;) :D

Fellow Chris

Fellow Chris

I know its being insanely stubborn lol. But its one of those things where, it may not ever be visible to other people, and you wouldn't notice it unless you were LOOKING for it. But I know its there, and that would irk me... :icon14:

GT Motoring 03-10-2010 12:59 PM

These will have a better range of height cause the KW controls height and pre-load together where as these are separate.

XwChriswX 03-10-2010 01:20 PM

Ok. Then it's settled, I'mma stick with these, now to go rob a bank lol. :stirthepot:
