Nismo owners with Coilovers - feedback.

When you switched the stock shocks/springs with coilovers, how did the car handle? Same? Better? Worse?

To be exact, what are the pluses and minuses that you could share? What would you do differently? Please provide the brand that you purchased.

Thanks a million!!!

Hmmmmm? I guess there aren't any Nismo owners out there. :)

MotoExtreme just changed his out to KWs and said it really smoothed out the harsh ride. I'm going to be doing the same in the future, the ride is just a little too harsh for me with the standard Nismo setup.

Did he say anything about the getting a smoother ride at the expense of less cornering precision or more sway or anything?

Obviously there would be some minuses.

No, I haven't spoken at length with him about it. But I'm not sure that I agree that there have to be some performance minuses involved. Wallet minuses maybe.

I have Tein Flex on my Nismo. Thread by Forged Performance below for pictures. Ride quality is better, even on full stiff. No where near the kidney beating bounce that it used to have. Ride height is, of course, drastically improved. Handling - well, I can't say. Car is brand new and I haven't yet put her through the paces. But, I would say that there is no way that the Tokico shocks of the Nismo are as good of quality as the Teins.
