FUCA that DONT bang?
Seems every FUCA will bang the fender wheel wheel on dips when lowered
Can anyone confirm if this is true for spc/spl? I don't mind paying extra $200 to avoid this with SPL I've searched and can't find anything Is it potentially dangerous? |
Where is it hitting? My SPL's don't hit anything. The edge of the tire rubs a little on the inner edge of fender.

No issues with my SPL FUCA's and run a 19x10 front wheel with 285/35/19 R888r's. There is one 10mm bolt that needs to be trimmed. I can't remember which side.

Thank you guys, I will spend the extra $300 on SPL as I hear its real common for banging in the wheel wheel to happen with other FUCA's

ran 20x11 +5 in the front with top of the tire in the fender
no banging from SPL Fucas if you're hearing banging you bought some real shitty design |
AHH!!! Damn typo!!
I was referencing the common occurrence of FUCA's hitting the wheel WELL on dips/bumps when too low on coilovers. Even stiffening them won't solve it It seems Nissans, infinitis, and even Lexus owners suffer the same fate due to our suspension design and use of FUCAs. This isn't a problem on stock arms, but becomes a problem with aftermarket arms as I believe they are longer. I've yet to hear about this being a problem on SPL, and regardless, I am starting to realize this is NOT a component you want to cheap out on |
Anyone experience tapping noise after installing SPL FUCA? I can hear faint metallic tapping noise coming from the front passenger side and the 10mm bolt is already shaved down.

was ride height or alignment changed
