SPL Outer Tie Rod Ends STUD

I have the GTR "bumpsteer" tire rod ends with the spacers to level the steering
I was checking up on the rod ends by taking them off the car,
The conical "stud" that goes into the wheel spindle, wouldn't come out because the two nuts SPIN THE SAME WAY !! Yes I follow instructions to tighten the top and undo the bottom first, what a terrible design !!
You'd think SPL would have made these with a built in HEX, so far my first experience with SPL and to me they kinda overpriced, mediocre products, yes I said it...
Anyone find a better tie rod end shank with built in hex??
I had to grind the stud to separate the rest of the rod end, lucky SPL has them in-stock...
Miraculously, the rod end held up over the past two years, but the terrible design of the shank makes me want to put oem tire rods back on if I can't find a better "stud"

Are you lowered that much to actually need them?

Fair point - about 3 inches in the front
I wonder how much different these are from stock because the spacers are not that tall anyways,
I figure I would get a little bit more adjustment outta the SPL parts to keep my inner tie rods level to go easier on them...

That much? If so, you need them. 1 inch, not so much.

I think Im gonna go back to the oem tie rod ends
Don't want to worry about messing around with these,
Seems like only a difference of 1/4" that the SPL arms will drop the tie rod end from the oem position...
Doesn't seem like that much of a difference to me...

Two adjustment spacers are about 1/4" total
If I max out using all the spacers, it's about 1/2", or 1/4" more than oem
I would even rig up my own spacers but there are more more threads left on the stud.

From the Z34 instructions, figure the R35 tie rodes would be the same since the stud and joints are the same part numbers:

The following pictures show possible bump steer adjustment settings, using
various combinations of spacers. The stock tie rod end corresponds to the
setting in image #3 (with two adjustment spacers and no misalignment
spacer).
For most installations on stock knuckles, we recommend using the setting
in the fourth image above (one misalignment spacer, no adjustment
spacers).

So I went back to the OEM outer tie rods and everything is GREAT
