Quick warning about GKtech

So I purchased their FUCA's. Seemed like a good deal. Caster adjustment, on-car camber adjustment. Much cheaper than SPL. Solid joints.

When they arrived one set was visibly narrower than the other. Quite difficult to fit onto the car as well. Their response? Must be a problem with my eyes.

Now I just got around to installing their rear camber arms. Pictures below. Their response? I must have installed them incorrectly.

You bought that cheap junk. Guess you will have to deal with it.

Ouch! Lesson learned.

Sorry you got to deal with this. I'd reccomended fighting it cause that is some bs and get your money back. For future, theres a reason why everyone here recommends SPL or at least SPC.

If you used your credit card or PayPal, get them involved.

I'm ordering SPL right now and all this junk is going back to the store.

I have a set of their arms and had no issues. Sorry it didn't work out for you

Edit: it looks like you still have the eccentric bolts with the rear lower control arms. You will also need to get a lock out kit which replaces the inner bolts.

When you uninstall them, it’ll be good to take more detailed pictures showing the differences, especially the FUCA.

I have a set of digital calipers on order for exactly this purpose.

Amazing that folks STILL dont just get SPL and sleep well at night knowing their **** will fit, wont break, and adjusts easily and securely

No pity here

That's a damn shame. I've been following them because their designs looked to all have good adjustments and for half the price of SPL. Good options for someone trying to overhaul suspension on a budget.

Sometimes you just take one for the team.

I'm following for photos and measurements when uninstalled as well -- it'll be easier to withhold any judgement in case of incorrect install. I have purchased other GKtech components (shifter + knob, diff brace) that I'm very happy with thus far, and I intend to eventually mimic Brendan's FUCA setup for autocross. "Only SPL" isn't a healthy solution and GK's is definitely a more promising option than Z1 (which I'm currently using) or SPC.

Op forgot about this thread like my dad forgot to come home after buying cigarettes.
