Andorra equals to a low tax country in the middle of the nature, a healty country where a lot of people go there to avoid taxes., also they are really strict with foreign people.
This small country have a big % of rich people wich a big % are petrolhead, this adding the nice roads inside the country only means this:
you can cross with cars like this ones everyday:

DO NOT grind on your calipers. Only bad things will happen.

Looks like the rotor outside diameter is ok. But the hat is wrong. So you got the wrong rotors.

Next question. Did your Z come with the 'bono's already on?

yes, in europe all the Z come with akebonos.

it looks like the hat is too big and needs to be 10mm smaller, right now we are in contact so let's see if we can get a new set with the problem fixed. Right now i think there's no brands selling full floating rotors for the Z, i don't know if it's because the Akebono caliper or because it's not worth.
If Floating won't work we gonna try Fixed rotors.

by the way i haven't showed my Z, it's this little boy:

Ok, you got the wrong rotors. No questions asked. Did you get the 2 piece rotors for the rear too?

No, only fronts , rear will stay oem.

yes, but theoretically the rotors i got were for 370z, probably they failed when designing the hat, my opinion is that they designed the hat with an AP caliper, wich it have more space in the bottom(like most of the calipers heh:icon14:)
anyway, the problem is solved.
cheers

You might have gotten the rotors that was met for the AP calipers from the big brake kit. We can no longer get the AP BBK here.

post update. After several emails with the engineers and pictures with caliper/discs measurements, there's no way to use floating rotors with Akebono brakes. sadly..
the only way to use 2 piece rotors with Akebonos is going fixed like z1, DBA...

Z1 and RacingBrake both make 2 piece rotors. I have the RacingBrake rotors on front and rear.

Or if you get really lucky that a GTR owner is upgrading his brakes and sell you the OEM setup for cheap, do a conversion. Consider how expensive it is to ship these rotors from USA.

Good luck either way!

In my opinion, Any good aftermarket BBK, like AP RACING will be better than GTR OEM brakes and cheaper probably. I have some time In a 2020 gtr nismo, and a lot of owners changed the brakes to a aftermarket BBK like Alcon(for tracking purposes)

The thing is that here in Europe modify the car is a pain in the ***, any mod, even if it's simple like a wheelspacer equals a +300$ fine + a car inspection that you need to pass X year to check if the car is stock.

I have to think about it because as i said, changing the front braking system equals a problems, but one option i have, and i'm thinking seriously is to go AP Radical 1 calipers for the fronts, the list of available pads and discs is vastly expanded.ç

thank you

Stillen and a few other places here in the states used to sell the AP Radical II BBK kits. But something happened a few years back and AP is no longer selling their BBK kits here for the Z. I was looking into them for myself. Think the only BBK kit left for the Z is the Brembo and the Wilwood kits here in the states.

Not arguing, just clarifying my thoughts...

Key point was if you could have it for cheap. For the same price, I would obviously go with the few reputable aftermarket BBK setups. Used OEM GTR brakes are still much cheaper than reputable aftermarket BBK, full setup to full setup, in the US market at least.

I assume the brake bias is still ok....long time ago an AP rep said bias would be wrong, but nowadays there are a few cars running around with that setup, one is a euro member that tracks and is turbo’d, so I guess the bias is ok....I don’t know....

I think judging the sufficiency against the GTR is tough, they are 5-600hp pigs after all. For use on a Z34, OEM GTR hardwares would be more than sufficient...easily few hundred pounds less, 2-300 hp less....

Just to add another choice to the mix is Stoptech makes a two piece floating rotor that should fit sport brakes!
