Akebono Rotors?

Looking for some new brakes. Narrowed it down to EBC slotted and Nissan OEM (I daily drive with spirit at times, no track usage).

However I came across these, does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks in advance or your help.

For a street driven Z that will see no track duty at all any blank rotors like Akebono,Brembo,StopTech will work out just fine for you. Even the Genuine Nissan OEM rotors will perform good. I recommend installing better brake pads than the OEM brake pads you will notice a slight difference in braking. I found the StopTech high performance sport brake pads are great to use for street use and are better in every area than the OEM brake pads. Dusting and noise is about the same as the OEM brake pads. There are a lot of choices for brake pads the EBC line brake pads will work too.

I HIGHLY recommend high carbon blanks. Raybestos 980663 on ebay $87 for the pair!! I believe I used centric on the front but don't have the PN at the moment. Inexpensive, stand up better to heat and huge initial bite. I'm running them with stoptech street pads, castrol SRF, MC brace, and ss lines on all 4 corners.

I believe Quicksilvers recommendation is the same pad as stoptech has renamed the same friction material a couple of times. I was able to find the old name "streets" on sale pretty cheap a few weeks ago.
