Thumping noise after semi-hard braking

So after semi-hard braking I get a constant thump in the car. It goes away after a while but it continues to come back every time I brake at +50 mph. Anybody know what the culprit could be? I’m thinking my brakes could be sticking but I just wanted a second opinion. Also the brakes squeal at random times. I also changed me brakes a couple months ago to drilled and slotted rotors.

Stuck brakes and slotted rotors seems to fit that thump noise you're describing. Had it happen on a different car but it's a fast thumping almost like a helicopter sound. That was a pretty bad case of the brake pistons being stuck tho

Would I have to replace the caliper or can I fix it?

You have the base brakes or the 'bono's?

The 'bono's calipers can be rebuilt. I've done a few sets of them. Get the kit from Z1, as it has the o-ring that goes between the halves. Other kits don't have it.

They are base brakes

Those can be rebuild too. Just might be easier and cheaper to buy rebuilt calipers.

Today before I went to work I look at my rotor and saw black spots and streaks. All the others looked fine. Should I replace the rotors and pads or just pads in the rear?

Obviously cheaper option - go with pads for now and bed them good after getting the caliper fixed.

Personally I'd prefer having the peace of mind and just shelling out for new rotors. Good excuse to upgrade those brakes too lol
