Polyurethane subframe bushings?

Does anyone have polyurethane subframe bushings installed?

CZP is basically claiming the 350z and 370z replacement subframe bushings are the same size. I couldn't find any information on whether or not the overall bushing dimensions are the same, but it seems so since CZP claims all these solid and poly bushings (except the nismo) for the 350z will fit the 370z.

So has anyone actually tried polyurethane or does everyone just install the Z1 collars or go solid?

Ask SPL as they make the part(s)

They have different part numbers for z33 and z34 solid bushings. I don't care for solid since i'm asking about poly.

The FSM (link in sig for 370Z) may have the dimensions. I haven't looked, but I think the site also has FSM(s) for 350Z.

Edit: Here's a link to 350Z FSMs: https://nicoclub.com/archives/nissan...e-manuals.html

I would use the Z1 subframe collars and be done with it if you don't want solid ones.

Z1's shipping algorithm is screwed up and charged 2 arms and a leg to ship to Hawaii. They also refused to do a manual review of the shipping costs and were pretty rude about it when I asked so I'm trying to stay away from them.

The Nismo solid and the SPL solid are the same thing. The Nismo is made by SPL.

If and when you change the bushings. The front bushings are silicone filled. The rears are not.

I know the Whiteline differential bushings are the same (part # KDT911) for Z34 and Z33 (and the cousin Infiniti G).

Curious about the subframe, I checked Whiteline's and Energy Suspension's websites. Neither list subframe bushings for 370z. Energy Suspension doesn't even list 370z.

If you are worried, I suggest you confirm with the vendor directly via email or phone call. Or, see if you can get member "2012 Nismo" to respond, he switched to Whiteline subframe bushings in this thread http://www.the370z.com/brakes-suspen...mendation.html

If ConceptZ's pictures are the actual product, seems like the Whiteline rear subframe bushings somewhat follow the OEM "hollow" design, where the Energy Suspension ones completely fill the hole. I would pick Energy Suspension ones if I am to choose between the two.

I speculating whether or not they were the same. I had no idea the front rear subframe bushings are also silicone filled :shakes head:
Thanks.

Yea, I'm not taking about the diff bushing. 2012 Nismo is talking about the diff bushing, not subframe bushing. Thanks anyways

Then contact white line or energy suspension and stop wondering.

Thanks.

The front bushings make a mess when you cut them. :icon14:

Credit Card dispute. That'll be many times more work than the manual review request. :rofl2:
