Why does my brake pedal rise up when I turn off the car?

After doing a CZP Silicone Master Hose Kit install my car has recently started lifting the brake pedal (with considerable force) almost immediately after I turn it off. Why? Could this be a vacuum leak in the booster? The brakes work perfectly while the car is running.

You moved the internal check valve from the old brake booster hose to the new one, right?

Not sure, I had to have it done at a local but good shop, didn't have time to do it myself. I'll check with them, thanks for the reply.

Maybe air in the lines?

Yes that was the issue, I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere online so fire now I have a little bit of a S14 in my Z34.
