Help/Advice with SPC Toe Bolt Install
I was planning to install the SPC toe bolt along with my camber arms this weekend. I am going to be following the DIY post; however, I just have a few questions. I heard that the 2013+ 370z models have a steel sub frame instead of aluminum which makes things complicated. Which dremel bit should I use for the steel subframe since the recommended bits were for the aluminum subframe. Also, how could I protect my elongated holes from rusting. Could I just spray some primer for steel? Thanks.

I believe i used a tungsten carbide cutter. I still broke 1 so don’t use too much pressure.

All of the 370Z sub-frames are steel.
The burr bit posted will work. Tip, dip the end of the bit in ATF before you start. It will help keep the bit sharp. To keep the metal from rusting. You can get a spray can of cold galvanizing paint. Spray it into a cup and brush it on. |
Thank you guys very much
