Yes, you will need the short banjo bolts with the washers or else expect some leaking

All i purchased was new pads and fluid. Less than 900 all in. word of advice, i've know 2 who used the z1 banjo bolts and they snapped during install with very little force. Good luck.

Same just happened to me. Does anyone know the part number for the oem banjo?

Does anyone know the torque spec as well for the z1?

What????

Those banjo bolts are what connect the lines to the calipers. And for the Akebono calipers, they require shorter banjo bolts whether you use the stock lines are aftermarket.

You don't need them. The non-premium SS lines from Z1 eliminate the banjo fittings entirely. So you don't have to worry about them leaking or breaking them during install. Much easier. Also, less expensive.

There is no banjo's in the Premium lines for the 'bono's either.

Z1's Premium SS brake lines do indeed include the banjo bolts:

Unless the photo is wrong. And the item description is wrong (says it includes brass mounting blocks). And the information I got from them years ago was wrong. I bought the SS lines in 2012 IIRC and Z1 recommended I go with the non-premium lines for the explicit reason that they eliminate the banjo fittings vs the premium lines that keep them.

I have them on my Z. And there is NO banjo's. The picture is right. The description is right. It says mounting blocks. Which is what they are. A bolt goes through the hole to mount them. There is a threaded hole in the block that you can't see in the picture for the hard line to screw into. Did you ever install them ?
