Red brake calipers
Hi, there! I have a touring (not sport) 370Z and would like to get red brake calipers. I’m not sure where to start. Do I need new calipers altogether? I called a high end shop and they told me they can get them painted but my calipers look a piece of metal with a lot of holes versus the smooth look of colored calipers I see around. Is there such thing as a “caliper cover”? Any pointers?

Sounds like you have base brakes. If that is the case, you only have one choice to upgrade to the sport brakes.

No pics of calipers; only the mounting brackets-but if not prepped well; they’ll look like “Chit”
I left mine Silver & got Red Wheels instead.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...640d162ed5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9b3bd13838.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ec299ae973.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Z1 sells the red calipers and associated parts to upgrade to sport brakes
Since it sounds like you have the smaller grey base brakes you will need the rotors and other parts Same for the rear |
Thanks, everyone! It does sound like I need to go into the upgrade route. My brakes look like the brackets that jchammond posted rather than proper calipers. You guys rock. (Can you believe that I called a shop specializing on Zs and they didn't even have a straight answer...)

You can also keep what you have and upgrade the rotors, pads, fluid, and lines.

U can paint them urself. If u have no need to upgrade why waste the money? Anything looks better then rusted old calipers

just photoshop red calipers into any pix of your car online boom done dont even need to buy paint unless you need MS paint |
