Nismo Shock question
 

Does anyone know if the Nismo front shocks are any different from stock shocks with regards to mounting locations or ride height? Is the Nismo spring shorter and what gives the small ride height drop?

Question is geared towards SCCA Stock class autoxing...and whether the nismo strut could be used on a sports package car legally....no change in mounting or ride height.

I assume the rear is not an issue....

I'm 99 percent sure it mounts the same. I've been told my a few that the coilovers will fit my car as they do all the Z's so I have to assume there's no difference.

Its funny you mention the ride height. I parked my car next too a couple of standard Z's at the Fontana meet and really didnt notice that it was lower. In fact I was quite certain they looked right about equal.

Not much help I suppose. I'm seriously considering Coilovers, I'll have first hand experience when I pull the stock ones off.
