Stainless Steel Lines, which brand to get

Im asking this on here bc you guys are more performance oriented. Im going with a BBK and wanted to upgrade the lines. Is there really a difference between lets say the Goodridge priced at over 200bucks or the Z1 one for 100bucks:confused:

Why the difference in price? There is also Stoptech, Czp, etc....

Instead of asking us, ask both manufacturers.

Ah, sorry man, not trying to be harsh. I'm serious, I think that those of us who might have them would not know the difference between the two, unless we owned both of them? However, the manufacturers could certainly tell you if there is a difference. Since both are stainless steel, perhaps the only difference would be the internals.

No problem:tiphat: I was just hoping they would chime in here too. There are just soo many vendors selling different lines this would be easier

Your BBK will probably come with SS lines by the way, but I have the Challenge lines on my car and LOVE them. Best quality brake lines I have owned.

No, I checked it will not :(

Not on the Z, but I had Goodridge lines on my Audi for 5 seasons in Chicago (salt, snow, sand, etc). The car was my daily driver and I ran it over 50 days on the track. Liters and liters of brake fluid went thru them, they had many many many heat cycles and they were perfect. If they are an available choice, I would use them again.....

I agree. I had Goodridge SS lines on my old G35 and drove the thing hard every chance I could and they were great. I will be putting them on my 370 very soon!!!
