Alignment Feedback

Hi Everyone,

I recently got my car aligned and wanted opinions. I'm on swift springs, oem shocks. Shop was able to get toe in spec, but not camber. I get fronts aren't adjustable, but based on what my alignment is set at, and considering toe is within spec, am I good to go? Or should I get rear camber kit (spc)?

As for fronts, from what I read on here, I should be fine.

Thanks in advance!

You need a camber kit. That's too much camber. Guys that track, don't run that much camber for the most part.

Why would you lower the car w/o the necessary parts to get your alignment in spec? Do you like wasting tires?

Because most of what I read on swift springs had people not needing a camber kit. Also, I don't put much mileage as I live close to work and have multiple vehicles.

I took the risk, now I know I'll need a rear camber kit and will go with spc. I install all parts myself, so I'm only out the cost of another alignment.

Does this answer satisfy you? Or would you prefer that I confess my love for wasting tires?

Pick up some adjustable camber arms for rear; as eccentrics will only do so much.
SPL's are the best,,,I just have ordinary adjustable Kinetics for now.

Spl are a bit overkill for my use, read good things about spc arms

Interesting

No? When I search camber rear, spc seems to have good reviews for street use.

I'm referring to rears btw. Don't plan to get fronts as it seems - 1.6 should be ok since toe is within spec, from what I read lol alignment shop concurred, but said front camber arms would be best

SPC's got a bad rep for breaking. There have a couple threads on it.

Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. Tires aren't cheap that's all I meant. Hope you get everything squared off asap

Ah ok, in that case I apologize for my sarcasm at the end.

I'm doing more research on spc. Plan to order something in the next few days.

I've read that spc fronts don't last. I know it's more expensive but I am going to go with spl arms. Their reputation and experience is unmatched.

I see that Z1 has their own line of rear camber arms; may want to pull them up & read about them...here's a screenshot.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...64a2fd02f6.jpg

I saw those, but cannot find a single thread on those, just their front arms.
