Coilover "issue"

Hey,

I recently installed my coilovers, and the ride is way different from stock suspension. On a flat road with no bumps or anything its fine. But living in California the roads are terrible, the issue with me right now is that the car essentially follows grooves in the roads and also, hard to explain, but basically skips around. Could this be an install issue?

Im running the powertrix sport street and spc rear camber kit. Alignment was done and everything is good.

Thanks!

What's your dampers set at? No matter what you do it will follow the road a bit more as it is stiffer setup. Overall I'm happy with mine but sometimes on some roads I consider trying a 10k/9k setup.

Following the grooves in the road is called tramlining and is common on cars with wide tires. As far as I know, the only solution is narrower tires.

The "skipping" problem sounds like your damping rates may be out of whack but could be related to the tramlining.
