Tein edfc pro

Just ordered tein Flex Z coilovers and am looking into getting the edfc pro. Is it worth it? I know with it I will be able to adjust damping on the fly but with a price tag of 800$ would it be an expensive nice to have gadget?

The coilovers have 12k/10k spring rates.

Thanks

I like it, i have tein mono sport coilovers and with a push of a button you go from race car hard to s class compfort. Expencive but lets you experiance your coilover in full.

$800? Wondering what else you need to get to that price tag?

Conceptz has the EDFC Active Pro for $634 and the optional GPS kit for $76 with free delivery. Is there something else you need to make this work (besides compatible coilovers)? Also, not only would you be able to switch damping on the fly, but the Pro Active kit auto adjusts damping in corner (26ms advertised). I am going to make the move on these in the spring with SPL camber arms and toe links. I think the pro also allows for completely independent and automated adjustment of the damping from left to right, where the regular old active model I think was only adjusting front to rear.

nvrmind.... i guess the 800 is from needing the motor kit as well.

Just got it from concept z and just waiting for the coilovers.

Those that have the tein how are they on street? I know they are dramping adjustable but the spring rates look really firm. They are one of the options in my short list of coilovers that can reach near oem height. Still thinking I'm leaning to rsr sport i or hks (more towards rsr) but curious of other options. Looking to maintain oem ride and then firm up for the 2-3 track days a year.

Unfortunately I don't have pics of the coils they were shipped to the workshop and installed there.

But here how the drop looks.

And yes they are stiff but not back-breaking stiff.
